Either 1928 or Oldsmobile or both are wrong.

Whoops. We are on a new page. So here it is again!

Guess the year and make of this elegant sedan.

Lovely wooden spoked wheels.
I guess, torque delivered to the road wheels must be enormous -- seven wheel lugs on each wheel ! Kinda liked the three-tone cream, beige and black color scheme.

How about the Oldsmobile Tourer?

On second thoughts, a 1928-1931 Packard 826 sedan?

We can't comment on the exact model from external appearances, unless we know which engine is in it.

This car is part of the collection at the Planes of Fame collection at
Valle-Williams, Arizona.

While chatting with moralfibre, he told me of his recent visit to the Grand Canyon in Nevada.

He drove by the Valle Airport at Valle-Williams, Arizona (Fred Flintstone's Bedrock City) with its "Planes-of-Fame" museum which has some gems of vintage aircraft and vehicles on display.

A famous airplane there is General MacArthur's Lockheed VC-121B Constellation, "Bataan" (regn:N422NA construction no:2605) repurchased from the NASA and restored to old USAF colors and VIP appointments.

This 1931 Packard Standard Eight Limousine has Texas Vintage plates.

Behind the Packard limousine is a late-1930s Stinson AT-19 Reliant (V-77) aircraft.

The classic wheels have wooden spokes and a split two piece-rim (like what you'd find on a Volvo B7R; unless of course if you count each wooden spoke as an individual piece! )

The interiors are really plush. Note the jump seat (for the valet?)

This looks like a racing prototype built on a Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 chassis. Just FYI, as per the rules, prototypes are not allowed to be posted on this thread.

Would love to be proven wrong though.

You are right Karl. It is indeed a Fiat 8V. See this:

1955 Fiat 8V Rapi 2nd Series

Note unusual layout of 250 km/h Speedometer and Tachometer (the lumbering V8 redlining at 6200 rpm).

So avant-garde for 1955 ! and at once, so recognizably Fiat !

Lo strumento di cluster è così bella ! Congratulazioni Kiran

Front end is trademark Humber but I can't say I can identify the model. I could be wrong. Interesting specimen Ram.
