First spy shot: 2011 Chevrolet Aveo

After cruze and spark, this will be GM's third global compact car (second generation aveo- name will be retained) and will come to India in 2010 end.

Caught testing in China near GM's Pan Asian technical Center (PATAC) for world markets.

Yes, may be due to that trapezoidal/diamond headlight??

The front grill seems like that of Cruze & beat. Seems they wanna have same front look for all?

What happened to the facelifted Aveo UVA ? Wasn't it supposed to be launched here ?

That pic is totally different from the current Chinese LOVA, look at the grill and bumper and it is more rectangularish then the curvy profle of the Lova.

Looks like GM is following the same design concept for all its future cars. Beat, UVA and Cruze: See one, see all.

But, the design looks pretty cohesive.

Autobild India claims that this facelifted model is coming soon to India. No idea whether that's a fact or not.

Had seen a snap of a version with a bigger grill upfront in the Aveo in a magazine last year. This one seems to be more like a mix of the current Aveo with the NHC look. Why wait till 2011 to release this, the current aveo is already as good as dead.
