2007 toyota supra?

This ain't no 2.4-liter Honda four banger with 140-hp, this is a Toyota race-inspired V10 with 500-hp on tap, with all engine architecture coming straight from their Formula One cars. You are looking at a 5.0-liter with a 9000 rpm redline and a 7-speed stick — and oh yeah, it's going to weigh less than 3000 lbs. The aerodynamics of this car are simply perfect, from the low ground effects to the centered exhaust systems for maximum efficiency.

They are saying that Ford GT and Ferrari F430 owners need to watch out 'cause when this hits the market they will be fearing something else besides the police...

Hmmm... Somehow it seems to be the Lexus LF-A Supercar (still a concept). Especially the front and also the exhausts (Click here for a pic with the exhaust showing... http://www.autoblog.com/entry/1511742316441486/ )

Below are the pics of the LF-A (took them myself)

@Viper: Man, the exhausts are a dead give-away. Check out the other link. Anyway, they wouldn't put the production bumpers, rear-view mirrors and indicators on a test mule.

..according to the news sources ..
lexus has agreed that they will not rebadge the 2007 Supra under the Lexus brand..like they did with the IS 300 ..

the concept LF A by Lexus doesnt even have side rear view mirrors, the thick line running along the top of the LF A is absent in the "SUPRA" ...

its about time the JAP muscle gave the american push rods a run for their money ..

Around a track, you don't need Jap muscle to beat American muscle, they're already quicker. LOL

Reminds me of this line from the movie "The Last Ride" where this guy comes out of prison (after some 30+ years), finds his grandson driving a Jap V6 and says "You kids today, dunno how to handle a V8?", the kid looks at him and says "We don't need it". LOL

That made my day.

but this supra looks set to compete with the likes of 4.8L GT Stang and the vettes in terms of CC and a huge BHP figure...

This car should be a good one from Toyota with the specs similar to the supercars.

And you know what, this Supra is gonna be a dream on the twisties too. Do you see the markings on the road (in the pic), that's "Nurburgring" trademark my friend.

And any car that starts life at the "Nurburgring", cannot be a bad handler.

Yup, it's the 'ring alright. Add the German numberplate to that. But why? Is it being developed at their F1 headquarters?

They launched a Skyline in 2005? Didn't know that, unless it was launched as an "Infinity". Some refer to the G35 as the new Skyline.
