8.34 1/4 mile... That 60' is sickening just watching it; I couldn't

Yup, I've got 2 videos of this run. The other car which looks like a Camero or something takes off, then this car takes off some 3-4 secs later and catches up with it, within the 200mtr mark and finishes the 1/4 mile in 8.34 secs while the other car takes 14.xx secs.

also seen a supra do something similar...races with another car lets it take a lead and then shoots off and does the quarter mile in some 6 odd seconds!!!
what i would give to sit in one of those...........

Wonder how is feels to go from 0-250+ kmph in 8 secs!!! A figure almost comparable to that of an F1 car.

totally agree with you on that shan2nu, it will be one hell of an experience

Actually, the launch on this car is much faster than an F1 car. F1 cars need to hit atleast 160kmph before the downforce can help them gun the throttle. This car though, has much bigger and stickier tyres, so no downforce needed.

Have a vid of Button racing his F1 car against a Honda bike and a boat. His car managed just 9 secs to the 1/4 mile.

Ofcourse it's a diff thing that Shucmi managed 9 secs to 600 mtrs in the wet. So, his skills are good for a 7.5 sec 1/4 mile.

But, i'm sure a Renault will probably crack the 7 secs barrier.

9 secs to 600m in the wet so make that 7.5 secs in the dry for 600m and less than 6 secs for 0-400m drag.an F1 car accelerates from 0-60mph in 1.5 secs.

Now thats power ...
Why cant some big corporations sponser cars to be built like this in India ...
