Nice thread,nice pics.Except the original H1,the rest of them were over-hyped and under-powered bling mobiles!

Besides the H1. The other hummers were basically big chevy trucks with different body. They don't do anything but waste space on the road. Can't even call them softroaders!

IMHO Hummers are better suited to military operations and rough terrain, rather than civilian use. I don't see any reason why people should go for these trucks other than status symbol/machoism. There are better/safer/good looking trucks than these vehicals available today.

Civiian Hummers are overall disasters except for the fact that they look strikingly good. I love the looks of the H1 & the H2 but wouldn't by them even if I had the moolah. I'd rather fix the respective shells on the respective Chevy chasis' and put in an engine which would be a performer which corresponds to the body. I personally don't like kit cars but a kit Hummer is the best & most practical idea.
