Looks MUCH better than the horrendous previous Gen R Class.

Merc has gone softer with the R.Which looks more acceptable!

It will still fail again in the United States of America. The problem of the R-Class is its body style. Its an MPV but doesnt look like one, its a station wagon but doesnt feel like one. Overpriced compared to its competition which is very strong especially from South East Asia (Toyota Sienna, Honda Odyssey, Mazda CX-7 / 9). Mercedes should stop producing this car and concentrate on other classes in which it is strong. IMO, its a complete oddball from Mercedes-Benz.

Issue is getting people into this car. Those who have used it or driven it rave about it. But unless it can define what it is, people won't look at it

They need to discontinue this after the lifespan of this generation including the upcoming facelift is over.

Have to agree 100%! There's way too much competition in the segment of MUVs & crossovers, no wonder the R-class is rarely seen around in most cities(within the US, ie).

this looks better than the older one. i always liked it, hope MBIL brings an indian version of this here and create a new segment.

Two of the latest rendering of the Facelifted R-class.

IMO second one look more like the next generation R-class rather than the facelift!
