For a second that line made me think you are speaking about a scale model.
Cool car though.

I officially have a woody. That is just gorgeous! Going out in a 997 Carrera Cab tonight, and it won't even compare :(

Haha! Well said!

Well, I will be doing in my Honda Civic tonight. And that doesn't even compare to the 997 Carrera Cabriolet you'll be enjoying

The attention to detail is stunning. Down to the Heuer chronograph, as opposed to the newer TAG ones.

Can't agree more bro. Heuer dates back to 1860. Tag just acquired it.

The Cab was fun. Top down in the London winter with the heater on and the music on full blast. Still, I am in LOVE with this Singer!!

It's an absolute beauty and there's no denying it! The Fuchs, the rear wheel arch, the classic 911 silhouette, the colour, the little bits that don't matter on an everyday basis.. It's breathtaking!

Wow. How did i miss this thread for such a long time? This is one of the most attractive cars Porsche made in a long time.
I'm attaching a picture of the 911 Singer Porsche which I had on my desktop for a long time.
Just look at the tires.
I regarding the photo of the lip . It's truly divine.

First production Singer Design 911

Singer has been so kind as to serve up a load of heart-stopping photos of its very first production 911. You may want to set aside a little personal time for this one. If the perfect lines of this particular machine aren't enough to get you licking your chops, allow us to remind you that you're currently eyeballing a host of custom-tailored carbon-fiber body work wrapped around a fully modern Porsche drive train. That's right, kids and kiddies, tucked under that classic skirt is a walloping 410-horsepower 3.82-liter flat six engine.

We're fairly certain that we'd be happy to perform any number of nefarious acts to call this creation our very own.

Singer has stitched in Brembo stoppers on all four corners along with Bilstein coilovers to put all that power to the pavement, and the interior is laced with the kind of kit that you'd expect from a vehicle with a price tag that knocks on the door of $200,000. Look around the cabin and you'll see a Heuer chronograph, leather weave seats and an RSR steering wheel, among other goodies.

Re: Blast From The Past: The Singer 911!

The most desirable 911 in my book. Apart from the original 2.7/2.8/3.0 RS & RSR series, of course. The coke-bottle silhouette is something Porsche has perfected over the years, and it's good to see it thoroughly emphasized in this Singer designed 911. It's one of those characteristic traits that can't be ignored while penning a 911 tribute.
