Porsche's Panamera Sedan is finally on sale around the World in three configurations: Panamera S, Panamera 4S and Panamera Turbo.
As Porsche spent tons of money on the new platform, we will see more body versions of the Panamera in the near future.
First in in the pipeline is a two-door Cabriolet that will cost about 11,000 euros ($16,000) more than the Panamera sedan.
Little is known about the car, but according to insiders it is a classic convertible with a soft top folding-roof mechanism.
Engine line-up is expected to stay the same ranging from a naturally aspirated V8 with 400 hp to a twin-turbo V8 with 500 hp.
“We have a broad range of 14 derivatives of the 911 that are very successful,” development chief Wolfgang Duerheimer told Automobilwoche. “So it stands to reason we should diversify the lineup for the Panamera as well.”
In addition to the Cabriolet we also expect to see a coupe version of the Panamera. Volkswagen will very likely use Panamera platform for other products like the next-generation Bentley Continental GT.

This will look way better than the tail-heavy ungainly sedan!
So can we expect a estate/wagon of panamera,if it would be the first expensive estate version.lol:

There are plenty of other expensive estates like the Audi RS6 Avant, the Mercedes Benz E63 AMG Estate and not to forget, the crazy BMW M5 Touring! They too, are expensive, fast and raw! :)
Not to mention the one off ferrari 456 estate that was made for the sultan of brunei.
Porsche have lost it! I guess....no, now I'm sure. How many people are they trying to please & overexpose themselves?!
Soon Porsche will have a car competing with the Nano in terms of size, but it will cost as much as a million Nano's, will outrun a jet fighter and will carry the 3 pod dash.
