Looks fugly.

And how in the world can anyone say it competes with a CLS if it is priced at 200,000$?

Source : Porsche Panamera Spied in San Francisco

Article :
Quote:
With the official site now live and the introduction drawing close, Porsche seems to have let the security surrounding the Panamera four-door sedan relax a bit. Flickr user Hysterical Bertha caught a nearly undisguised Panamera prowling the streets of San Francisco recently. Apart from some black tape and a bit of chrome tape to change the greenhouse lines, the vehicle in the photos appears to be a production-ready Panamera. The lines are by now familiar to Porschephiles and all of the enthusiasts waiting eagerly, nervously or cynically for the car to debut in Geneva in March 2009.

Current speculation calls for powerplants to be shared with the Cayenne, giving the rear-drive Panamera a choice of 385- or 500-horsepower 4.8 liter V8 engines under the hood.

The rear is really ugly. It desperately needs a spoiler. The way the tail lamps and number plate are placed reminds me of some American cars of the early nineties. Otherwise the design is good.

That doesn't look a bit like a 200,000 dollar car. And i think design is ordinary, with the back being the worst bit about it.

The designers tried to do a classic Porsche rear end. But the result is horrific! Front end and side profile look decent though. The Aston Martin Rapide has this one covered in the desirability stakes.

Forget Aston... even the Quattroporte has this covered.

I think the Panamera is pig ugly. And I'm a Porsche fan boy! Imagine that!
