Diesel beats Hybrid in Fuel consumption test

German auto mag, AutoBild drove a Mercedes ML320 CDI and a Lexus RH400H hybrid Suv from New York to San Fransico and the diesel merc returned 10% better fuel efficiency then the Lexus. I have been saying this for a long time and I say it again: The future is Diesel!

Yup. Clarkson got more mileage out of the A8 diesel than a Toyota Prius. Anyone remember that episode?

Not to mention that driving a diesel would be more fun than the hybrids. Besides, now even racecars are being tested on diesel as well.
