That to me looks like Fiat Panda in the European markets, only a generation older, guess they are doing some mods to the previous gen of Panda and getting it here.

Correct me if I am wrong, but in terms of price I am still not sure if it would fit the claim to be a panda

Doesn't look like a Fiat. I will be very very disappointed if Fiat brings in something looking like this.

I beg to differ, this very Fiat, atleast in Europe.

See pics from the Fiat.de site of Panda and Qubo.

If you take a closer look you realize that the body lines / roof lines are way different.

Thread says its entry level car by FIAT. So i dont think it will be competition for YETI!. looks okay for an entry level car!

But a 3 door entry level car, i doubt!

this does look like the earlier panda type car. If anything it might end up competing with the Premier Rio at worst and/or the Wagon R/ Versa/ Eeco at best

I think form here FIAT should start having their own Authorized Service Stations as well and gradually have their own network established. off-course, it is high time they start doing it.

I am sure TATA`s Authorized Service Centers will surely have fiat as a second priority which is obvious and this would affect Fiat`s customer satisfaction which is a key quotient in the Indian market. It is also that TATA will try to convert the FIAT customers to theirs.

I hope they don't launch it anywhere. This car's incredibly ugly to look at.And, what's the point of three doors?.

This looks UGLY!

Can't see how fiat hopes to sell it in developed markets may just be meant for "developing" (read third world) markets. I guess Punto designers were on vacation!

Nice paint job!

The grille should have had slants only on half of it - can be seen from sid's first picture.

Now I am not sure how the "Half Grille" will be taken in real world - like a half shaven mustache Fiat may have a practical reason for it, but its not aesthetically appealing for sure. They have done it before with old panda.
