Do the aliens have copyright protection or design protection ? If so the Nissan designer surely is in trouble

Looks like someone melted a design and froze it.

Good one however the proof of the pudding will be in eating it. This should have some 4x4 and a nice diesel powerplant.

And guaranteed to spoil the party Nissan won't launch it in India.

DC on a diet ?

did a ps job.. just to see how it would have looked with cleaner lines.
My thoughts too - rear lamp cluster design reminds me of the trademark Volvo sytling.

@Ashutosh, can you try a PS such that the H/L and the grille have one single outline ? The current front looks have the headlights seperated from the grille.

It's fun to see designs like these. They add spice to the automobile buff's life; in a day and age when design is usually a play-it-safe venture, a car like this comes in - one that tries desperately hard to be the ugliest of them all.

Thank you Nissan for deciding to manufacture such a car, it's stupendously ugly and for now, your only competition is DC from India and Leepu (of Bangla Bangers fame) from Bangladesh.

@Condor - Someone at Nissan woke up from his reverie as the car's design was nearing completion, then looked at his car's rear end (a Volvo) and decided to copy it and try to save the day.
@ashutshBb - Very nice modification, well done.

condor.. since there appears to be four H/Ls.. were you talking about the round ones? here is one PS job using the same but slightly repositioned round lamps.

Re: Even more polarizing Nissan Juke crossover revealed

apologies for bumping this Old thread but is Juke coming to indian shores?

A article on indiancarsbikes Suggest so

2011 Nissan Juke Crossover SUV Car in India: Will it or Won't it ? | Indian Cars & Motorcycles Blog

Below is text

Nissan Juke Crossover

Sometime ago Renault and Nissan married and here’s what they’re booming. Nissan is all set to debut the Nissan Juke Crossover at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Now, we’re bringing you this piece of news primarily because we’ve been hearing stuff, though sketchy at this moment, that hints at a possible Indian launch of the Nissan Juke sometime in 2011.

We wouldn’t be too surprised if Nissan does launch it here in India as has been readying itself for a slew of product launches aimed squarely at the India car buyer.

That said, we don’t know many Indians would actually warm up to this crossover which looks radical and cool to some with others going to the extent of calling the Juke, puke, get the pun? So there, the styling is controversial to say the least with some angles looking better that the other.

The Juke as a car sits snug in the crossover segment, where it will vie for urban yuppies’ attention. Like most typical crossovers, the Juke too will offer it’s owner the tough, macho stance of an SUV with the agility and small size of a hatchback, thus making it an ideal urban runabout.

While you can’t go mud plugging with the Nissan Juke, you probably can use the 4WD to get you out of a couple of tricky situations like some dirt or even snow on the road. Internationally, the Juke will come with a bunch of engines that include a turbo petrol to make the going a little more quick and frisky. If Nissan India does bring the Juke down, we expect the 1.5 liter Dci diesel to sit in the India Juke’s engine bay.

Meanwhile, here’s the complete range of engine and transmission options that the Juke will get internationally. Stick around for updates on the Juke and it’s possible Indian launch.

Re: Even more polarizing Nissan Juke crossover revealed

Well, I would think it would be great competition to the EcoSport. Both look radical, and are pretty much based on similar lines, and Nissan might just consider it. But I doubt it would happen soon.

I think it's a radical car. Looks like Swift meets Volvo meets DC meets Crazy Frog!
