It is indeed, a very good looking car! The front might look a bit weird initially, but it isn't hard to fathom. The gull-wing doors give it some added pantomime-ness; not that it really needed more of it, actually. The rear lights look a bit tacky.

What I cannot digest is the name that Pagani have christened it with. I mean, what is Huayra, really?

Plus, they could have squeezed out more than 700 horses from that bi-turbo AMG V12! The new flagship Lamborghini will churn out the same amount of power. So shouldn't Pagani extract more from that fantastic 7 litre V12? Or are they waiting to establish the new Huayra and then introduce a dozen limited editions of the same with even more power?

Trust Pagani to do just that!

When i first saw pictures of the new Pagani, i was concerned, because it just wasn't as UGLY as the Zonda.

The Zonda had a certain charm about its alien insect like looks. It was a true exotic that embodied the "i don't even care what it looks like, because its just incredible" philosophy.

The Huayra on the other hand seemed a bit softer, smoother and more mainstream. I assumed it just wouldn't have the presence of the Zonda that it replaced.

Boy was i wrong. In 2 days at the Geneva show i visited the Pagani stall 7 times. It totally made the show for me.

The level of detailing is amazing. And everything, EVERYTHING is CNC machined aluminum, or pure carbon fiber. Its a modern day take on exquisite craftsmanship.

If i ever had to define 'exotic' to someone , i would show him/her a picture of Huayra .

Totally love the attention to detail on the car . I think the designers spent a lot of time designing every small part of the car . The front being inspired from R .And just look at the raising and lowering mechanism on the seat .Very well done .

Extreme engineering!

I was wondering which manufacturer will have the Push-pull gear mechanism on their road cars and the Huayra gets it. Truly wow!

Fantastic. Superb coverage of the Huaryra Rehaan. I thought the Aventador would be the star of the show but this just nailed it. Truly Automotive Art. I'm in love with this car. Pagani should take a bow to come up with something like this.

What a phenomenal piece of kit, the Huayra is! The attention to detail and the craftsmanship is truly exquisite and mind blowing. I'm completely smitten by this Pagani. Yes, I do wish a few elements had bee carried over to the Huayra, for example, the chrome/aluminum ring around the exhausts. But it doesn't matter.

It makes up in every other way. The leather belt-strap, the exposed transmission and the machined-aluminum bits are truly staggering! Very intricate and very beautiful.

This is the sort of car you 'wear', rather than drive.

I've always had a soft spot for cars designed and engineered like this. That's why I adore cars like the Spyker C8.
