The results of the Top Gear Survey 2004 on which cars are the most and least satisfying to own in the UK are out.
Looks like Honda with the S2000, has shown everyone else, how it is done.
Much to my dismay, Mercedes continues to take a beating. As a manufacturer, it's ranked #29, far below its direct rivals which are hovering around the #10 spot. The M-Class has also been voted as one of the least reliable vehicles around.
Check it out.

Among Manufacturer rankings, Hyundai is ranked above Audi, Suzuki, Ford, VW, Alfa Romeo, Mercedes! This korean company is really making huge progress and I HATE THAT!!!

In the 10 most unreliable cars i saw the peugeot 307 and 206?! Man, this is shocking! What's going wrong with European car makers?

Hahaha...Rover beat Mercedes!! So when i'm successful in life and have enough spare cash and i want to scream that i have arrived, i should go and buy myself a Rover. Of course it does mean that what i'll really get is a rebadged Tata, but atleast it will get me there, unlike the Mercedes. I'm not surprised, quality has deteriorated over the years, especially electronic glitches and has affected majority of the top manufacturers, but more so Mercedes. I've told them a million times, go back to the drawing boards, but they just won't listen.

Though i'm pleasantly surprised to see Porsche is placed sixth overall, would have liked them to finish higher, but it's not that bad considering the other five are volume manufacturers.

Octavia & Fabia from Skoda r agian in the top 10.mind it its the old Octavia in the top 5

I can bet my every penny on New Octavia to beat every other car when its included in survey.the new Octavia is extremely better version of the previous one & it has already beaten New Golf,New Focus & New Astra...as no 1 small family car.(WHATCAR NOV ISSUE).

IT also came top in family car segment with toyota Avensis,Mondeo,Vectra,Passat & PUEGEOT 307 all fighting for the top spot.

the 2004 survey included cars only upto mar 03.
