The following pictures showcase the American muscle at its best

Challenger SRT

This HEMI outputs an amazing 425 BHP at 420 lb/ft. (approx 570Nm).
6.1 Liter V8 (pics in the previous post)
5-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual.
Brembo Discs on all 4 wheels

Challenger RT

Smaller 5.7 Liter V8 HEMI with an output of 372 Bhp at 400 lb/ft (approx 543 Nm)

Charger
Both the 6.1 and 5.7 Liter HEMI's are available on the Charger as well. This is fast becoming the choice of the law enforcement agencies with the old Crown Victoria becoming an aging dinosaur.

This is common sight in and around Dallas now, hardly every see a Crown Vic

Hyundai

The Hyundai stall was dominated by the new upcoming Sonata sedan. It looked pretty impressive and along with the Genesis coupe and sedan it was generating a lot of foot traffic

The Genesis was another attention hogger, it had won the last year's Car of the year award, but this sporty rear-wheel drive car is not really scorching the sales charts. We can hardly see any of these on the road.

I like the aerodynamics of the new Sonata. I get to see one everyday in the parking lot.

Honda

The Honda area was taken over by the new Accord Crosstour, the notchback version of the popular Accord sedan. This was released a few months back but we can hardly see any on the roads and doesn't seems to have got any followers yet.

Honda Cont...

One interesting model that Honda has is the Element, its promoted as a Sports activity vehicle and is pretty unique in its shape and doors...

The Oddysey was another attention grabber. This is one of the preferred people movers seen commonly on the road. Wonder if we will see these in India any time soon.

Audi

Audi was another manufacturer which attracted quite a crowd with their R8 and other sedans.

Audi is looking simply superb; defines how a sedan should look like; keep them coming, I'm awaiting for Camaro's pics

I was there at this precise Auto Expo and don't quite remember how many times my jaws dropped at the exhibition. Not a huge fan of Pick-ups (don't tickle my sensibilities), but there were some really cool monsters outside the Main Covered area.

My only experience with any Auto-show. I now aspire to see one of the kinds that take place at Detroit, Frankfurt and now the emerging scene at Shanghai.

Tht new Sonata is looking quite good. I hope it reviews Hyundai's fortuner in the 15-20L segment. The profile is very attractive, and in the right colors with a little less chrome, this one could really be the thing for Hyundai ow that the Accord prices have climbed to silly levels, and the Superb is taking away all their business at ~20L. Diesel heart, MT / AT with good pricing. Might be asking for a lot, but Hyundai has it to make this happen.

@ Animesh : You should go to the Dubai Motor Show, you will fracture your jaw. Everything there is either exotic or blinged out

PS : When will Audi learn?

The new Sonata looks better than Genesis in my opinion. The Genesis looks yuck!

What is stopping Hyundai from introducing the new Sonata in India? It looks absolutely stunning! And I'm sure it would be a hit if priced competitively! Come on Hyundai! And while you'll are at it, do introduce the Genesis and the all new Verna as well!
