And it's running on Continental tires. Looks like they managed to put one over Michelin.

And apparently the regular Focus RS is quicker than the GT on Ford's test track. This one must be even quicker.

DROOL MAAL. Awesome looking car. Though I wonder how it'll handle the 350 horses with a FWD. There might be something else which is hidden. Maybe an AWD?

Wonder when we will get this sort of car here.

OT- Saw an well maintained SRV today. Looks awesome. Only if it had a power packed engine, better handling and an awesome price tag!!!

Great looking hatch though!
I had seen a review of the focus RS downloaded from Racing Flix - racing videos featuring cars, bikes, burnouts, drag racing, road racing, rally, street racing, road tests, and more! done by fifth gear. In that review the reviewer had initially expressed doubts that were similar to yours. But he did go on to mention that the turbo lag in the car is actually a boon in the car as it takes time to provide the excess power from the turbo. Till such time torque steer is kept in check. For such reasons torque steer in the car is not that evident and it actually handles beautifully. I had seen another review by the same guy of fifth gear were he compared the RS with the evo X and though the evo [understandably because its a 4WD] came out on top, RS was not far behind. Check the reviews section of racing flix and you might still find the video there.

The one which jeremy test drove had around 300 bhp.It had a front differential though but still the torque steer was huge.

My worries are the same that Suhaas and Kp pointed out.. 350 horses to the front?

And we thought only japs and european (Renault Megane) manufacturers knew how to pimp up hatchbacks! Once in a while, a completely impractical car can do wonders for your image! This one hopefully should do the same for Ford. Most buyers wont care much what clarkson finds (except the accelaration figures) cause they simply want something thats rare, crazy, fast and looks that part! This one does it in style! BTW, how much does this thingy cost?

Torque steer is a problem that cannot be avoided if your car is FWD and churns out over 300 horses!

If Autocar is to be believed, the whole run of 500 units has already sold out – some 12 hours after the reveal. Sales will be spread out over 20 European markets, with the UK getting 101 units, Germany getting 55 cars, France receiving 50 and Belgium scoring 50 units, with Denmark, the Czech Republic and Greece getting five units each, while Ireland receives three.

The best part of the story is the fact that all 500 units are already spoken for, even before prices have been announced. Ford is said to be sorting through the letters of intent from customers to figure out dealer allocations.
