A very immature but expected comment from Ron...He knows that despite the fact that the new McLaren will sell well it won't get a place in history as a great car. Nothing special about it like the F1.

The Veyron however is entirely different and in a different league. While the F1 is one of the best cars ever made the sheer capability of the Veyron significantly triumphs the F1 IMO. It's not just about acceleration or top speed figures but also about handling. The Veyron is much more planted on high speeds than the F1.

TG has no reason to stage this race. everyone knows the Veyron is fast enough to catch the F1 napping even when the F1 is working at its best. There have been great cars ever since man started making cars but that by any means doesn't mean that something once made can never be bettered again. This is clearly proven by the Veyron.

I myself am a huge fan of the F1 but if the F1 was the engineering Mt. Everest the Veyron is the Stratosphere.

Quite interestingly the Veyron might hold the crown which many claim for the F1, the best car ever because with the upcoming crop of anaemic, pointless and hardly useful or environment friendly hybrids and EVs the Veyron might just be the last biggest golden page in the book of internal combustion.

Oh well, can't expect much from a guy like that. Never liked the way he managed some of the stuff that happened at McLaren F1 too. Sore loser.

This is the reason why they kicked him out of the team and sent him to the street car division. Looks like he's not going to last very long there.
