I just happened to call one of the senior sales managers at a Hyundai dealership and he said it has been quoted in one of their internal magazines that the Elantra is going to be launched by May '12 and the facelifted Sonata a little before that.

Too early to even think of pricing - but like every TBhp-ian opined, if Hyundai can price and position that right, the C+ segment would feature them as a serious contendor. Looks are good, engine is capable, the car has proven its worth already - I hope Hyundai (of late, they have been more reasonable here) prices them right much to the delight of many Elantra fans (I am a big one - my stallion has crossed 1,20,000KM and is still going strong) out there.
