Scared you didn't i? :) come 2007 VW will say bye bye to TDi and switch over to Common rail diesels. German Auto Magazine Der Spiegel reports that come 2007, VW will switch to Common rail diesels and as the linky says this news has been confirmed by a VW spokesman. I'm surprised there is no mention unit injector technology. VW has been stubbornly pursuing this for a while. In fact their new 2.0 16V diesel has this tech.
