$10,000 extra for just a matte grey finish and some expensive leather! And no power increase! I'd rather spend that 10k on some after-market exhausts

Wish we had the same kind of price in India :(

Looks fabulous, specially the interior combo (not overdone red all over).

That's because this is the 2011 BMW M3 that gets these subtle changes.

The M3 has already achieved iconic status, but sorry to say, this so called "Ltd. edn." as such doesn't seem to have anything special to offer.

Is it only me or what? The car doesn't look aggressive at all. And the alloys are a big let down!! Interiors look good though.

EDIT : The turn indicators on the front bumper spoil the look too.

Quite a lot of negative response I see. I don't know about y'all but I think it looks fantastic. Subtle enough with a hint of aggression dialed in. And as far as the wheels are concerned, I beg to differ. They look smashing and perfect! Looks like BMW has borrowed them from the M3 GTS.

The wheels are indeed stunning, similar to BBS LMs! But there's nothing very special about this M3.

And in this 2011 model, I don't like the turn indicators on the front bumper either.

BMW is now offering 'Performance carbon fiber aerodynamic accessories' across the M3 range. The front looks even meaner now!

1. The OVRMs are beautifully sculpted
2. The orange indicators on the front bumper look 'put on', not having them there might have improved the look
3. Overall, although it has a sculpted look, it also manages to look smooth - managing this contradiction well
4. I don't particularly care for the lower air dam below the front bumper, or the same detailing at the back
5. Alloys are fine, would personally prefer a simpler design
6. No front fog lamps?
7. $ 77-78k approximates to INR 32 lacs - mouthwatering stuff if only we could dispense with our high duty rates

There would be two strands of opinion as in this thread - one strand will make the case for a more obvious, overt, aggro styling and the other would prefer an iron fist in a velvet glove design philosophy, a more oblique approach to styling. My preferences are with the latter, I'd prefer a wolf in sheep's clothing to the other way round

Overall, well done frozen gray M3!

Regards

All U.S. spec cars must have turn signals on the bumpers/fenders AFAIK. Hence it looks like a 'put-on'.You won't see them in the Euro spec versions.
