Whats the point of a capable supercar if it's looks dont move you? Especially when it is some small manufacturer whose fate depends on the car's sales, and who has no brand cachet to sell the car with??

This car looks just plain ugly. And remember, looks will be a major turnoff.

First, make sure it looks good. THEN go to the other aspects. Even if they are not good, the car will probably sell on its looks alone, if you have spent enough time making it look good.
i would like to put my point of view, i think a Supercar needs to be more CRAZY than good looking.

Let's wait for the actual tests before we take a call on this one. So far it's all speculation.

Barabus Trk 1005 Hp Topspeed 432km, the worlds fastest car so clamed

The Bugatti Veyron may no longer be the world’s fastest car. Barabus officially unveiled the TKR: a new 1005 horsepower supercar the automaker says is capable of doing zero to 98kph in 1.67 seconds. What’s more, the car reportedly has a top speed of 270 mph — nearly 20 more than the Veyron. Power comes from a 6.0 liter V8 twin-turbocharged with dual intercoolers. The car has a full carbon fibre body and chassis.

It's worth noting that Barabus sometimes refers to the car as being able to hit 60 mph in "under 2 seconds," rather than the stated 1.67. Even so, there is still some doubt among enthusiasts if such a figure is even possible. Nonetheless, the car is on display at the 2006 British International Motor Show, and we expect to get more details in the near future. The TKR is said to have been in development for the last 10 years. The car is to be made in Italy and the power plant is built in the United Kingdom. Worldwide volume is projected to be 300-400 cars over the estimated three-year production run.

I doubt you'll get that kind of rubber for your wheels to give you that much traction. Unless the tarmac is as ULTRA STICKY as those SuperULTRA STICKY tires.

By the way isn't the top speed of the Veyron "limited" to what it is? Which means it could actually go faster.

Looks are very McLaren F1ish wonder what powerplant is lurching under the hood, given Brabus's connection to MBZ.

Dude you mistook it for Brabus. Its Barabus which has nothing to Brabus and I think this car has been posted on the forum before. I think during that time they were aiming for beating the bugatti's record. Its italian with the engine sourced from the UK.

hey guys what about the street legal car 2250 brake horse power!
it can do 0-100 in 1 second!

and it cost much lesser, he quoted how much i guess he said 10,000 quid thats 7 lakh rupees with 3 engine transplants, repainting and so on for 6 years!

so how come we are still having wierd 0-100 in point variations, where as a home built car goes faster

i find it wierd ( also how does 0-100 feal in 1sec )
must be like a mach 5 G Force!
dont know how fast this car does but

barabus 432 km, lets see now if my car does 140 max it will take hmm ( its only 3 times faster than my car )
