Ferrari Four (4 Wheel Drive) launched: Pics on page 2

Looks like Ferrari is coming up with an all new supercar! Check out this vid of the highly camoe'd Ferrari. Sounds brilliant like any other Ferrari! Seems like a V10 to me.

Could this be a replacement to the 612 Scaglietti?

If in case it is, then it'll be a V12, no less IMO.

Wow This is exciting. Sounds like a LP 640 or the 670 to me.I think it could be a v12.
But I thought the next in line was the new Enzo v12.

Very well camouflaged, they seem to have added some panels to hide the actual lines.
By the dimensions, I don't think its mid engined.

The camouflaging looks hideous!! I am wondering if it is the new 612 or some mad version of the 458? Because the front as well as the rear lights are ditto 458!

Frontal looks are inspired by 458, and engine is definitely in the front, by looking at the pictures.

Not sure how body lines will go, but front face of the car will be hideous, just like 458.

Very well camouflaged indeed.

But if they are road testing it and the car is camouflage like this wouldn't it effect the cars aerodynamics which i guess matters a lot for a ferrari test. And thus manipulating the result of the test?

Adi, this is for engine and driveline tests in most probability. Aerodynamics are done in the wind tunnel in the factory itself.

Really neat camouflaging! I really can't tell what the final outcome is going to be like. But will be a looker for sure!

Wonder if their decision of concentrating on V8s related to their 'eco-friendliness'?

It can indeed be a V10. I have heard before, that Ferrari plans to use turbo chargers again in their cars [the last turbo charged Ferrari was probably the F40]. They said they would replace all naturally aspired V8 to turbo charged V6 and change V12 to turbo charged V10s. For people who fear that Ferrari's driving experience might be ruined because of the possibility of turbo lag, Ferrari have promised to make turbo lag extinct!

I doubt this is the final body. As somebody else has mentioned, this could be just to test the engine. The body is probably not even complete! Look around the tail lamp!
