Merc SLK200K v/s Audi TT 1.8 Coupe

Let consider 2 Sports coupes available in India ..
The Merc SLK 200K and the Audi TT 1.8 Coupe..
Which one would u choose...

Ratings choice to be given considering the following points ..
1. Price v/s Value
2. Ease of Modification
3. Design
4. Reliability
5. Service
6. Overall Satisfaction

Indian conditions and regulations to be taken into consideration...

Cheers

In Indian conditions, I guess the sensible option (considering all the factors mentioned by you) would be the SLK200. Plus. you get a convertible and a coupe - 2 cars in one.

And the current look tends to discard the "chick car" tag.

EVO- You might wanna mention the price tags on both cars for people to poll price vs value.
Anyways its the SLK for me hands down. The TT's styling is very dated now and it very applied to me, the SLK is fresh and standing with a big 3 pointer star on the hood to add to the satisfaction. Audi Indias service is not a patch compared to Merc's which is well established for a decade.

For me its the TT, good design and its got good potential for modification. Reliability shouldn't be a problem but service is very limited.

TT Price Rs. 36 Lakhs on Road...

SLK Price Rs. 49 Lakhs on Road...

Now maybe the opinion might change ... since one could by a Octavia in the Difference...

a Quattro would have made me ponder a bit more over it ...

EVO6, not even looking at a Porsche Boxster? I believe it retails in the same price range, atleast the non-S would. I'm not too clear on the prices though. If included, I would have picked the Boxster.

Out of the two, Audi's chic styling is done for me. The SLK much sharpened up, even though the front end is a little pretentious.

TT is cheaper, but the SLK is a much newer package. Merc has a much established service setup, though I don't doubt Audi's newly setup either.

A true Prosche fan

Although Mercedes SLK is a much newer car but price difference, 13Lakh is quite a lot of money

Money not being an issue SLK for sure

The non S is not available in India as the engine size is below 3l
