New Opel Corsa spy pics

In the Indian car scene there was talk of bhpian's wanting to see the Corsa sedan from Brazil.
Opel is all set to launch the new Opel Corsa in Europe which shares it's platform with the Fiat Grande Punto. The car looks exactly like the Grande Punto till the B pillar, maybe, thats the reason for it's sleek and sexy looks but I would like to see this baby in India.
Off topic, platform and cost sharing is all fine but I don't like cars losing their unique identities because of this. Anyway, take a look at the pics:

P.S. Business Standard Motoring reports that Fiat plans to launch the Grande Punto as part of it's comeback into India. Hope they pull it off. Boy, that car is gonna rock!

I think its either the Aveo or the Spark thats gonne be launched here first.

I agree jk. Point I was trying to make was even the current Corsa is going to phased out soon so even if India gets the current version it will still be outdated in a few months! And Brazil will soon get this new Corsa so why not India? Maybe the measly sales of the Corsa in India is a reason but a car like this can be used as shock & awe tactic. If they can bring the costs to a reasonable level, this car will be great.

A lot better looking corsa...It sure aint gonna come from the opel stable. Chevy??

Didn't ACI carry a story of cars that will be delayed in their Launch in India..if my memory is correct.the Spark would be delayed the most...2008 launch? what a shame :-(

so, its the aveo in its hatch and sedan versions

if m not wrong the corsa gonna be phased out. . . totally. may be thts the reason y the corsas dont sell that much, coz people know once phased out spares n maintainance will be very expenseive.
does opel launching the new corsa make much of a diff to the indian market ???
