Ferrari may have lost the beloved Formula 1 championship, but this should definitely be a sweetener at the end of the year.
Looks like the saying "Race on Sunday, Sell on Monday" works as well for the next years monday too.

Since Enzo started selling cars to fund his racing team, I dont think he will be too happy up there about it though ;)
But impressive, as I personally havent really liked a Ferrari design since the 360 Modena (but maybe many ppl do those who matter - the buyers..what do I know) and in comparison Porsche , Lamborghini and Aston have put out some stunning cars.
Good going for Ferrari this year atleast in terms of road car sale if not F1. I agree with you Abhay. The 360 Modena just wasnt oomph enough especially after a classic like the 355. The Gallardo compared to the 360 was just too chic. But I think the tables are turning after the birth of the F430. That car is simply spectacular. I think that must be responsible for Ferrari's good sales charts
Ferrari's road car sales have never been affected by its F1 performance except maybe in their early years.
This year they have reached record sales because they have more models on sale this year,many of them were released in the last quater of 2004 so they made no impact on 2004 year sales.
The Enzo and especially the F430 are why the numbers have gone up. The F430 is simply spectacular...

I doubt any left over Enzos were sold in 2005. Enzos have NOT contributed to this achievement. Atleast not directly.

Nice to hear that Ferrari have something against their name this year...if not the Championship Title atleast the Record Sales Tag. The F430 must be the catalyst that triggered off the sales. Ferrari must be relieved to see thir cars sell...especially after all those Enzo crashes.
Apparently its the 612 Scaglietti that has really pushed sales (in that article it says it sold much mroe than expected)
The 612's looks have grown on me over time, I really like the front and side now, they have some sort of a pull. The rear still fails to excite me though.
But the people who bought must either be too righ or crazy to get it instead of a DB9......
yes the 430 was a car many ferrari enthusiasts were waiting for, after the 360 which was not that hot. Its really the V8 which surprised everyone! and then the V-12 in the 612, ferrari is getting torque savvy!
