Re: Invisible Car Door

I would say it also needs a redesign of the seats to make it more comfortable for passengers to get in/out without any support. If you will notice in our current cars we always have to hold onto the door to enter and exit the car.

Re: Invisible Car Door

I can already see people sticking something in to prevent the door from closing. Reason - makes it airy/looks adventurous.

Re: Invisible Car Door

Wow so in one shot all the cooling is gone when you open in summers and same for the cold countries, all the warmth lost in one big disappearing shot. Applause

Re: Invisible Car Door

One of the earlier BMW Z series cars had a similar door concept. Remember JC displaying the use of the doors.

Re: Invisible Car Door

Well something new and interesting for sure. However it could be a disaster in case of accidents or system failure.

On second thought, how long car manufactures going to stick with same old "door on hinges" structure.

Time to give something new :-)
