Re: Top Gear Season 16

@vnabhi : Just download it from finalgear.com.

Just finished watching the Christmas special show. It's really very nice.

A new stig is born and grateful to know James May is well too after that accident.

Re: Top Gear Season 16

As usual Amazing episodes, its amazing how much effort they put in their films, right from the props to the music.

And yes This does seems like a Season 16 & not Season 15 as Finalgear has categorized it as Jezza does tell you what we are going to see over the next episodes & the trailer does look fascinating

Oh! don't you worry. They just need to pick a color with the appropriate talent. TG grow STIG in a farm.

Stig news - The Stig farm

And don't forget the video.

Yes indeed, my wife was watching it for the first time with me and she was amazed at the photography and compared it to be as good as a Hollywood flick!

+1
Indeed TG episodes are better than Hollywood flicks..I would rather watch TG again and again than any Hollywood blockbuster, period.

Anyway, the Christmas special is one of the best/epic episodes by these 'Three Wise Men'.

I am JC! JC-Who?Jesus Christ? No,Jeremy Clarkson.

Baby Jesus,er,Stig! Well that part was utterly hilarious.I laughed so badly that I ended up crying.Thank God we have petrol-heads like TG boys to entertain.

And yes,the 'bombshell' for this episode is possibly the best of all times.

You should watch the Top Gear-Polar Expedition/Challenge in Hi-Def.
I've always wondered why it wasn't released in cinemas world over.

Re: Top Gear Season 16

There seems to be quite a following for TG on here. Personally I find it quite contrived and more of a sitcom in the same field as Frasier. I do still enjoy it as grown men doing things with cars that I could only dream of.

Where as Fifth Gear is more of a motoring show and the latest series going back to proper car reviews rather than trying to emulate TG.

Tiff Needel used to be on the original Top Gear many years ago when I was younger and the show used to review proper cars - family cars and not just super cars that only a privileged few can afford. It used to be motoring show you could get advice from on about making your car purchase rather than your fantasy land dreams.

Am I being cynical and not enjoying the entertainment to its full extent, or just getting old.

Anyway do enjoy the shows, by the way are there any Indian motoring magazine shows on the television?

Probably yes

See there are hundreds of shows which will read out the specs & tell you how a car is in a routine boring way but Only TG does it in style & in a way that conveys the message along with lot of entertainment.

The series specials are often stuff which one can only dream off so as petrol-heads its interesting to watch these & see what happens when something what you always thought but could never do is shown
