Top Gear Season 16

Came to know that TG will be telecasted regularly in India also from jan'11... it'll be 10 PM but cant remember the date... will check in the current TG issue

I may be in the minority here, but I found the middle east special a bit overscripted. As a result, it wasnt enjoyable like a typical TG Special.
I agree about the stunning visuals and photography.

I recall an article written by JC a few years ago saying that their ratio of shooting to final product is 200:1, ie, for every minute of film shown, they have shot over 200 minutes of footage. Its then culled during editing to give that spectacular end result.

I bought my TV license for two things: F1 and Top Gear. And it is worth every penny!!!

Yes sir I do.I have 9,10,11,12,13,14 & 15.But all are standard quality ranging from 600 to 700 mb for each episode.I stay in Jayanagar 4th block.

The Christmas special was ok, got a new avatar pic from it

. The best one is the Vietnam special. Hope they do something like that in India like a ride to Leh, now that would be awesome.

@sajo, I'm with you. The middle east episode was only 'decent' for TG standards. But, my respect for the Mazda MX5 increased without bounds! What a car that is!!

In my order of preference, I rank the TG specials as below :

- TG First America Special (Camaro/Brougham Sedan/Ram).
- Polar Special.
- Vietnam special (Not just for TG Buffs, but a fantastic piece of TV content creation).
- US Road trip No.3 (15x07).

A bit OT , but I saw TG season 15 episode 1 on BBC Entertainment here in India. It aired today (Wednesday) from 22:00 to 23:00 hours. Ofcourse it was a bit edited, and the film quality seemed a bit different in the studio bits, but rest was the same.
