One of my Top Gear favorites are the Polar & Bolivia Special don’t remember which season they belong. A must watch if you are a TG fan and if you are not I bet you will become one after watching these amazing shows. Comparatively I feel the Middle east special was just average by TG standards.

Hats off to the TG folks and creative production team for coming up with such creative, adventurous and humorous episodes year after year

Last night Wednesday 12th had JC driving the Bentley Supersports and finally describe it as an oceanliner trying to be a speedboat, as opposed to an Aston DBS (" a speedboat designed to be one" or words to that effect), plus JM driving as close as possible to an active volcano in Iceland in a Toyota Hilux.

The rest of the stuff seemed contrived, at least to me ( viz., pulling the plug on a Chevy Lacetti, aka Chevy Optra in India by blasting-collapsing tall chimneys to entomb it and so on).

The comparos between petrolheads cars attracts me most to TG.

And a heck of a show it was! Though the episode is old (from 1st quarter of 2010), I couldn't stop drooling over the custom Hilux.

It was the first show of season 15 if I remember correctly.

I have watched the American special 6-7 times till now and enjoy it EVERY single time! Top Gear is no longer just a TV show. It is so much more!

If you're referring to the one with the SLS, 458, and 911 GT3 RS then that was designated as 15x07.

16x01 is also out, and thats the one where they do the journey of the Three Wise Men to Bethlehem, aka 'The Middle East Special'.

Not sure whether this episode really is the first episode of Season 16, or just a Special that they do between seasons. Most sites report it as 16x01, but who knows?

I agree and in HD I dont know about you guys but am filled with Envy when I watch that Hilux smash through the snow dunes.

No idea about the repeat telecast dude, but the Polar Special is being aired on BBC Entertainment today (Sat, 15th Jan) at 12 pm IST.
