Miss Scotland, Hypercar Royalty and me. My Experience.

Its not often that one gets to spend time with "Miss Scotland" and still manage to be in the company of hypercar Royalty. This is precisely what happened to me a few months ago. I was walking around the MPH show, ( read more here http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/intern...ow-2010-a.html )when I glanced upon a Gemballa tuned Porsche Carrera GT, the Gemballa Mirage GT. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw her and after literally gawking at the car for a few mins, I was approached by a gentleman from the stall where this was parked. He came upto me and said, "That is some seriously impressive piece of equipment you have there son", pointing to my camera and lens. I thanked him, and smiled. He looked at me and said, "Do you know what car this is??".... I thought he was joking, and said "of course!!". "Ok then", he says, "tell me what it is".... A Gemballa Mirage GT I say and there is a big smile on his face. Would you like to come in and look around he asks!

The Smile on my face increases tenfold and a security guard comes and moves the barrier for me"...SWEEET!! Im in!! He gets the keys, opens the door and he says its all yours!!

Now, I am no stranger to supercars, and have had my fill of Ferraris and Lamborghinis. but this is at a different level althogether. Then I tell him who I am and what I am doing there in the first place, and he is very impressed. What follows is an introduction to "Miss Scotland"..Cant remember the girls name though.

As most brits are, he wa a good hearted and playful chap with tons and tons of humor. He even insisted I pose with the girl. All said and done, he asks me... So Cyrus, Who would you choose. The girl or the car?? He also said, the girl in the car is not an option!!

Yes, as all petrolheads would say, I choose the car. Did later talk quite a bit to the girl though, and she was very very sweet.

As we were talking, a father daughter duo who were looking around and were quite impressed with the GranCabrio standing next to the Gemballa were also invited to sit in the Maser and later in the Mirage GT. They also asked if I could take some pictures of them in the car. I obliged.

HEre are the pictures guys, and yes, the Bald fellow is me. BTW, if you notice, me and miss Scotland are in matching clothes. Perfect isnt it!!

Isint the CGT out of production now. So how is Gemballa offering this car to the customers?

LOL!! I believe this is one of seven cars made by Uve. This is not a new car btw.
