Bentley Breaks World Ice Speed Record (330.7 kmph)

This just in. Bentley is now officially the worlds fastest car on ice.

The specially modified Continental SuperSport Bentley, which includes a full roll cage, parachutes, extended front and rear spoilers and large 20 inch wheels with winter tyres, set a speed of 330.7 kmph. The record was set on the frozen water of the Baltic Sea

The lucky person to break this record was Juha Kankkunen; Finlands 4 time world rally champion. I guess he can now be called the official ICE MAN

Post the success of this event, Wolfgang Dürheimer, Bentley’s new Chairman and Chief Executive, said they are going to be launching a special 'Extreme' edition of the Bentley, which would be the most powerful Bentley to be built to date and only a 100 will be produced

Kankkunen is fun to watch in action as well!! Good stuff!! Eagerly looking forward to this so called Extreme Bentley. And of course....the 1:18 version..

One word. WOW. The pictures are breathtaking and the car looks absolutely fantastic. Driving on snow is a rather dangerous thing to do and that too doing 330 kph!
