So, will Ferrari replace their old GT car with this? These are rumored to be official pics

Not really amused with the rear look given. Looks damn plain and simple. Front looks okaish.

Note from Mod: Please provide the original link / source to the images posted above.

The front and the sides arent too bad, but the rear is simply unacceptable. A front engine ferrari should always have a sloping fastback, and nothing else. No Ferrari should ever be notchback.

Why are there so many scallops and scoops and cuts? Should bangle influence even FERRARI? Such a legendary name should have simple beautiful designs.

There are GG50 and 612 overtones, but in a positive way.

Reconsider please.

I dont think they are, I think this is a render based on the 550 barchetta pics.

It's good that they are replacing the 575M as it was getting long in the tooth but why this? Don't ferrari fans deserve better.
the whole thing is simply horrible. Front/back/sides, everything.

The 600 Imola will be nearly same looking as the 612 but with a longer wheelbase. So you can expect this shape going into production

This one looks very similar to 612, couldn't they creat something better. The back looks very ugly.

Ohh sorry mods. Just posted that in a hurry.

and yeah guys this one is confirmed, quite a few online ferrari fan clubs confirm of it.

wondering what's wrong with 575M ..it was doing fine...nothings wrong with the design of IMOLA bt looks gaudy....replacing lengendary 575M with this is certainly a suspect move which would only be justified with time to come...575M was a mean machine with over-the-top perforamnce n superb accelaration at all gear shifts...let see how does an Imola do a 575M!

I maybe wrong, but this was a car designed by a group of Car Designing students(in a competetion held all across Europe and the US). Its the winning design...but cant see from which angle it looks good.
The 575M isnt outdated, its still selling quite well. The car looks more like a modded version of the 612 Scaglietti...except for the back that is...

Its Official now:

Its called the 599 GTB, and is powered by a 6 litre 620 bhp V12. Thats just 30 bhp shy of the Enzo's output.

Another factor I dont like about this car is the ack of the legendary four-light rear end. I wouldnt have minded so much if it were on the V8 models, but on the front-engine V12 model it is simply unacceptable. Its liek BMW abandoning the hoffmeister kink or the double headlamp look.

Front engined ferrari?? Yuck!!

I cant beleive you man. Going by what you are saying, 250 GTO, 365GTB4 Daytona, 275GTB, 330GT,550,456 are all 'yuck' cars. How could you ever say that?

Some of the greatest Ferraris have been front-engined, man. Many many eople prefer font-engine Ferraris to the mid-engine ones.

Ok, its just your opinion there, just was a little taken aback, didnt mean any offense or anything.

The new Ferrari replacement for the 575, codenamed the 600 Imola has been caught testing at the track.

The webpage is a little messed up and it may take a while for the video to stream. Looks and sounds good though.

Managed to get a couple of pics as well.
