Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Skoda India has chosen Rapid to sport the new corporate winged arrow. ![]() The changes includes a larger winged arrow, change in the hue as it is switched from “natural green” to the new “ŠKODA Green” and a chrome rings defines the circumference of the logo. The old logo: ![]() The report in IAB suggest that the Octavia will be the next car in line to sport the same. The ‘Skoda’ also appears in a new typeface on the left hand side of the hood. ![]() And here is the picture from one of the dealer store; ![]() Source: http://indianautosblog.com/2013/08/s...ty-india-92346 Last edited by sarathlal : 20th August 2013 at 01:40. |

| ![]() Confused whether the move is good or bad. Not may car logos use color in them. The green was a distinctive skoda touch. Cost might have reduced due to savings on paint i guess! It looks a bit ordinary now. My personal opinion! Hopefully expect to see lots of old fabia's and octavia's sporting this too! |

Team-BHP Support ![]() ![]() | ![]() Thought this was started long back? Have seen several Rapids like this, starting from at least a month back. Instantly noticeable because none of the skoda cars till date had Skoda written anywhere other than the badge. |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Yes, this skoda logo story is a tad lengthy one, with unveiling in 2011, international usage un 2012 and India intro in 2013. |

| ![]() The logo featured on the cars do not look green in colour. They are natural steel colour. At least that's what it looks to me - I have also spotted several Rapids in the past month with the new badging/logo. And I think it looks better that way rather than the green in the old or the new logo. |

| ![]() The "new" logo is not green as shown in the 1st image. It is sliverish with a black background, just as shown on the Rapid in the pic. The cost of these logos has also reduced drastically. Initially, a logo for the Laura would cost ~890 or so. Now, these new logos cost ~150 bucks or so. All the new cars from Skoda will now sport these logos, and to be honest, i quite like the new logo. Its cleaner and simple. |

And yes, even I prefer the old logo. Had much more character. | |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() The new logo may cost 150, but for sure the SKODA lettering is going to be expensive and that would be ripped off and mostly partially, so you end up with a KODA or S ODA or just DA. This time & money could be better spent in improving the A.S.S |
