The multiair petrol engine is a breakthrought in petrol as CRDI in diesel. In all round increase in efficiency,precise/fast control in airflow metering,reduction in emissions,better engine response.
This technology is superior to variable valve timing (VVTi or Vtech used in japanese technology.
Quite fascinated by this new gem of engine which is rightly crowned European engine of the year.
