Re: BMW M3 pick-up!! Really??

Ouch!
I do not know if that's pretty to my eyes or ugly!
Seems like they've chopped off the upper rear bit of the car.

But knowing the M-Division, this should be a pretty hot pick up!

Or, yeah, probably it's because of April 1 being around!
Will look forward to hearing more on this.

Cheers and drive safe.

Is this some kind of a joke? Nice way to ruin a perfect car.

Ridiculous.

This is terrible. Is there even a market for such a monstrosity?!

Well, may be the Germans wanted to give the Aussies some competition

The HSV Maloo R8 is the world's fastest production utility/pickup truck, at 271 km/h with 425 bhp from a 6.2 litre LS3 V8 engine.

Whatever, the Aussies will be excited about this

I had a feeling somebody would bring this up.
I did love this vehicle and its sedan sister variant on Top-Gear!

But for some reason, I do feel that the BMW M3 is not a vehicle to be touched, let alone be cut off in parts!

Cheers and drive safe.

April 1st or not, it certainly is something different and I really dont think it looks that bad at all. Would be fun to see what this could do around a track. Lets wait and see if this is actually for real.

Re: BMW M3 pick-up!! Really??

It is a joke. Why would bmw come out with a pick up m3 when the regular m3 is on the verge of ending the production. There is no way in hell bmw is producing an m3 pick up. Its stinkin UGLY!

Re: BMW M3 pick-up!! Really??

Sigh! Never thought I would live to see this day. An M3 turning into a pickup truck? I dont care whether this new abomination is dynamically superlative. For me, this is sacrilege.

What next? a four door Ferrari SUV?

Re: BMW M3 pick-up!! Really??

Quite an ugly looking car in my opinion. It would be interesting to see how the world reacts to a bmw "UTE" like the Holden/vauxhall maloo

Re: BMW M3 pick-up!! Really??

Why would any one need such a car? Fast hatch? No its is not that.

What would be the purpose? By removing the top the integrity and rigidity of shell would be sorely compromised. Thus the handling. So it would no longer be a fast pick-up either!!

Re: BMW M3 pick-up!! Really??

Holden Maloo R8 is one of my all-time favorite cars and holds a dignified position in my wish-list, looks like BMW is bringing in a tough competitor to change the game for the Aussie. I'm sure the M3 ute will perform better than the Maloo in the corners but it doesn't hold a torch to the 6.2 V8 in a drag

That's the Vauxhall VXR8 Bathurst Edition. The supercharger whine of the Bathurst is orgasmic

Re: BMW M3 pick-up!! Really??

i dont see it as a pickup, i see it as a cabrio/convertible disguised as a pickup!

look at the roof and the B pillar, they are under a camo.

the boot/trunk lid is present, instead of a conventional tailgate of a pick up!

Why would they disguise a Ci/Cabrio as a pickup cos the E93 M3 (Convertible variant of E92) already exists?
