I really understand when they have to maintain the design language of the family for all their product but that doesn’t mean the designers should just stick one face to another’s. Also one thing to notice is most of the renderings are from 2002 and 2003. Hence there might be a possibility that the one to come would look nowhere close to these sketches.
Also I still fail to understand why the professionals at Audi have to exaggerate their sketches by distorting the whole car with their 55 inch wheels. When we were being trained by the designer for the Bentley and the Ferrari 575 zagato, he had mentioned one thing very clearly. "The designs you sketch for a concept should always look like the real deal, this way it is always easier to communicate with the clay modelers and the cad modelers. Your sketches shouldn’t look like you were on crack ."
