these wheel rims are replica of WWll jeep rims. |
agree:
BTW first time I am finding a multi-PCD pressed steel rim.
I dont know about you guys, but every time i see pictures like these or actually see cars when i travel outside , it makes me want to sit down and have a good cry (no, i am not being girlish here) , i mean a seriously good man cry with some chest beating thrown in, i can settle for just beating (the right auto execs to start with and the Govt folks to end with) . when will we start making cars like this here and at prices we can afford, yes yes i know all the big auto boys are here and they are getting all their nice toys , but hey as a mid to senior level exec here you still cant buy most of the nice ones, and even if you do whats the point, fancy parking your shiny Jeep outside anyone ? oh well i will stop ranting. got to get that resume polished - :Frustrati
To all of us who have waited in agony for serious horsepower, better roads, bettter traffic sense , better quality ...pray my friends - some say prayer helps. Me ? i need to do something to get wheels like these -praying aint enough.
After looking at Renegade... I feel like :deadhorseThar !!!
To a certain extent I agree with Prithvi and luky_13 about the quality gene being absent in our DNA. But I also believe we are getting there.
I may be slow, but today I came across mahindra-customisation.com website, and if they do what they say, then I guess its a pretty good step in the quality-delivery direction, what say?
Cheers
Terribly :OT
Complaint and wait is all that we enthusiast's can do @sanjayr328.
of course we will reach that point in future but when?
After our prime?:Frustrati
While I do agree with several of your statements, lets not get into a "bashing" sort of tone if thats possible.
Yes, I also share the view that they need to be far more consumer focussed and pay much more attention to design and quality.
We should keep sharing constructive criticism on the forum and elsewhere in the hope that it forces their management team to listen - it might take time but the end result will be worth it in my opinion.

My thoughts about M&M, based on what we have seen from them in the past:
1. They may have most of the facilities, manpower, design team etc. to create this type of vehicle. They DO NOT have the vision, or the passion required to do this. |

Lovely to see one more guy of exact taste !! clap: These are the two cars..ooops, Jeeps I loved the most. It will be so lovely if we had these in India.
I am sorry to ask this questions..How can Fiat bring these models? Are these owned by Fiat ? stupid:
Right now some kinda JV between Chrysler (who owns JEEP) and Fiat going on(or take over?), which saw the Fiat 500 being launched in small car hating USA and the Cherokee platform being used for a Maserati 4*4.
So , maybe, dunno, Fiat may be able to bring them here also, especially as they now hav diesel powerplants.
Except the cherokee, rest all look like from Allan's garage. Are these machines purpose built for some off road expedition? Or will they be sold as regular production vehicles for public?
