The Season of 2005... let me know wat u feel guys

F1 season 2005 has come and gone by... but it's one which will last in our.. atleast my mind for a long time to come. it was actually a season where a legend was surpassed.. adn convincingly too. Fernando Alonso walked away with not only securing the top honours for himself but also for the much loved Renault team. the Renault team have been involved with the F1 sport for the 105 years or so... with never winning a constructors..which is a bit of a shame.. don't u think??? anyways Flavio Briattorie's men did what they had set out to do and in what style did they go about it! Fernando and Giancarlo were always to be an exciting prospect.. come what may!!! many say Alonso is the next Michael Schumacher.. but i say who needs a Michael Schumacher number 2.. we would rather have Fernando Alonso number one. don;t u think so guys and gals??

Kimi is anyday better than Alonso.... had he been in a reliable car and a liitle lucky (he is one of the most unluckiest drivers in F1), Mclaren would have won the constructors title and kimi the driver championship!

hi

hey man i don't appreciate u disrespecting schumi man

Alonso drove well last year so he is the champion

but he cannot do as good as schumi coz there is only one Michael Schumacher

i think given a better car he can clinche title no. 8 this season

This leads to an interesting question... Given an equally capable car for kimi, alonso n schumacher... who will come out on tops?
Kimi for me.....

i totally disagree with you on this .. Given an equally capable car Michael will convincingly destroy both the drivers Kimi and Alonso ..
2005 was an year in which Ferrari failed to develop a good car .. and when it was catching up Bridgestone was not upto mark with their rivals .. having caught out Ferrari decided to concentrate for 2006 season , leaving their 2005 season championship hopes .. Now that their 2.4 V8 laden F1 2006 is ready and rocking the testing Circuits quite convincingly ...
this is the average test times of 8 teams that tested at Jerez last week
Average timings as on 27-01-2006
TEAM AVERAGE
1 Ferrari 1:16.124
2 Renault 1:16.464
3 Honda 1:16.549
4 Toyota 1:17.245
5 BMW 1:17.510
6 Scuderia Toro Rosso 1:17.841
7 McLaren 1:17.864
8 Red Bull 1:17.995

hi

Given an equally capable car to all the drivers in the f1 paddock,

there will be only 1 champion & that is michael schumacher

i believe this season the top teams will be ferrari, honda, renault & mclaren

For me 2005 season is season to remeber for along time to come, some of the races were very exciting like Imola, Suzuka, Spa. Fernando did a great job and Renault deserved the champiponship.

Thats the problem with F1, the car are never equal at all times, so its an endless argument as to who is a better driver. Only team mates can be compared.
