Re: F1 2011 - British GP- Santander

This news about the new regulations regarding the Off-Throttle Diffuser made rounds last week, but looks like the regulations will be dropped for the rest of the season

Formula 1

While REDBULL will see a lot of hope, The FERRARI's will see Red...

So RBR back to where they are with their Scorching speeds.

Sure, RBR will get back their speed though they didn't lose much even with the off-throttle EBD ban. The package as a whole is quite strong.

Now, I think Ferrari has some tricks up their sleeve with the new updates on the car. And I feel Ferrari will keep the new found speed even with the off-throttle EBD. Or else, they wouldn't have agreed to the removal of the off-throttle EBD ban. For any decision, there has to be consensus amoung all teams and Ferrari and Sauber were the last to agree.

Ferrari: Silverstone Upgrade « Scarbsf1's Blog

Gives some idea on what was new in the Ferrari in Silverstone. Ferrari brought new exhausts, rear suspension, engine cover, diffuser, side pod and rear wing for Silverstone!

They have found good amount of pace when they matched RB at those high speed corners at Silverstone. However, how much they have caught on the RB will be known only by German GP!
