I think everyone is holding back a bit for tomorrow.
I dont think so. The top 10 for the Practice 1 and Practice 2 shows to be almost same, i predict, even the Qualifying will go the same way and even the race result.

Looks like Hamilton and Mclaren are going to beat the RBR's this time too.

Top three teams are close together, followed by Mercedes. Force India seem to have developed an edge over the others lately, hope it continues.

The beauty is in the journey, not the destination..
Look forward to some great racing!

Keeping an eye out for Trulli, his power steering woes seem to have been solved.

Re: F1 2011 - Hungaroring Grand Prix - Budapest

Just when the McLaren seemed to have got the upper hand, Vettel puts in a top lap to take pole. 1-6 on the grid reads: Vettel, Hamilton, Button, Massa, Alonso, Webber.

McLaren have the pace to win, so that should keep things interesting tomorrow. The Ferraris have been struggling in the final sector of the lap, so a race win might be unlikely. And Massa out qualifying Alonso? Is it contract extension time at Ferrari?

Sutil too seems to have woken up after his recent off-track incidents. Force India has been on an upswing and may that continue till the inaugural Indian GP and beyond!

If Hamilton can jump Vettel at the start, things will get interesting. McLarens certainly have the pace, so Vettel will not have it easy here.

Hope Hamilton wins tomorrow!! He needs to get ahead of Vettel at the start, or it will be tough to overtake him later. Looking forward to Force India doing well too!

We have seen it in the last race, how vulnerable RBR is at the starting grid when the red lights go OFF, i am sure Vettel will lose it to Hamilton at the start.

Very surprisingly Force India cars are looking stronger since the last race..

Re: F1 2011 - Hungaroring Grand Prix - Budapest

As Vijay Mallya mentioned after qualifying today, FI has had a car in Q3 for four races in a row, and the fact that this is a high downforce circuit, confirms that FI has progressed.

Hope Force India brings home good haul of points. Di Rista missed Q3 by a narrow margin else both FI would have been in Top 10.

And someone said it will be a boring race

Button wins in his 200th race. Tyre strategy cost dearly for Hamilton.

Re: F1 2011 - Hungaroring Grand Prix - Budapest

Commendable performance from Button! McLaren is on a roll.

Oh poor Webber, if it's not for Kobayashi (not sure) he wouldn't have lost that position to Hamilton and I'm still wondering how Hamilton managed P4 despite 5 stops + one drive thru. Great, indeed.

Webber/Alonso/Hamilton would be a treat to watch for in the coming races(with all of them placed almost equally; 149/145/146)

Bad for MSC, gearbox failure (commentry said so).
FI seems to be evolving and I'd bet they will make a great team in furture seasons.

Re: F1 2011 - Hungaroring Grand Prix - Budapest

The conditions ensured that the race was lively. Hamilton will be ruing his tyre strategy as well as his drive through penalty. Otherwise, this was his race to win. Jenson made sure that he was in the right place to capitalise. Vettel seems happy to be collecting points, which is all he needs really.

Good race for Di Resta. Force India are improving steadily. Happy days..
