F1 2011 - Hungaroring Grand Prix - Budapest

ENI MAGYAR NAGYDIJ

What a tongue Twister

RACE TIMETABLE:

Fri 29 July 2011

Practice 1 13:30 - 15:00

Practice 2 17:30 - 19:00

Sat 30 July 2011

Practice 3 14:30 - 15:30

Qualifying 17:30

Sun 31 July 2011

Race 17:30

BUDAPEST RECORD

Race Date: 31 Jul 2011
Circuit Name: Hungaroring
Number of Laps: 70
Circuit Length: 4.381 km
Race Distance: 306.630 km
Lap Record: 1:19.071 - M Schumacher (2004)

Simply saying, this is a BUMPY track where in you get to see only Corners and Corners, with a total of 16 turns. Also considered to be a very dusty track since it remains UNUSED untill the F1 race happens here.

The German race has shown how unpredictable RBR can get when they are not in front, and shows how Mclaren cars can have a HERO and a ZERO with its reliability.

Nice back to back F1 weekends for us

Waiting for the weekend!
This month has been great with all the races happening one after the other.

And yeah, RBR is indeed unpredictable now!

Re: F1 2011 - Hungaroring Grand Prix - Budapest

This is another of the boring tracks where very little overtaking takes place. I hope we have a better race this time with the new rules, but this track should have been removed from the calendar long back. Instead Bernie has signed it till 2015 or something. Hopefully, there is some rain to spice up the things.

He may have a point. When he wins, only one national anthem is played. Don't be surprised if he wants to switch team because of this

It is predicted that this will be RBR backyard to play with the other boys. Reason sighted: aerodynamics is more important here than other tracks and RBR has the perfect package.

This should be predictably boring. But will see it anyways

you never know.
I was just about ready to sit out nurburgring.
I mean the c'ship is sealed, for all intents and purposes.
lets hope for some genuine action now.

I have very little hope on seeing an action packed race in Budapest unless it rains and the conditions are changing through the weekend.

BTW, Ferrari getting a new front wing for Hungary with updated cascading elements!

The RBR is not going to have it easy atleast in the 2nd half of the season!

I hope its interesting but the nature of the circuit has always given advantage to the front qualifiers. Interestingly due to the setting for Q3 sealed for RaceDay, not much action has been seen this year.

Lets see. Cheers!

Nico Hulkenberg is the Fastest in the Practice 1

Wish this will get him a place for the race...

Where did you get this?
Lewis Hamilton was fastest in FP1 followed by Vettel, Alonso, Webber, Button, Massa, Rosberg and Schumacher . Hulk was only 13th fastest and behind his teammate Di Resta.
