I just wanted to bring out a good technical article on F1 suspension geometry. I don't believe pull-rods are the main problem. It is just that, the suspension is out in the open and unique to F2012 and so is easy for people to pick on.

It is still passive. Just not legal, as per the FIA.

Whatever F1Fanatic talks about as pullrod vs pushrod is right, but they dont really have information on how its all put together in the F2012. He is just trying to be philosophical rather than technically speaking about the F2012.

Well, its not active but REactive suspension is the name given to the concept and its only interlinked suspension not active suspension like what was posted by Nitrous!

I remember posting about the interlinked suspension earlier in the F1 preseason thread here. I was not aware that FIA had rejected it! Its positive that the engineers are bringing a work around to make it legal and also get the concept to work.

Now I am able to see why the F2012 was struggling for traction since the car was built around this concept. Lets hope for a good season for the Scuderia from Barcelone

I got confused. I recall reading about REactive suspension in pitpass as the next big thing.

Anyways, since the topic is on fixing the F2012, how about fixing the way it looks.
