He's predicting a one stopper on the same tyres used in Monaco! !
Drivers will not be able to defend anywhere as easily here

F2012 looks good with the new exhaust.

And I hope Schumi has a good weekend.

Re: 2012 F1 - Canadian Grand Prix

Someone at MS's garrage seems to be thinking of new ways to undo the racing weekend

When the lights go off tomorrow I'd be really glad if CarNo 7 manages to cross Turn1 unscathed

Re: 2012 F1 - Canadian Grand Prix

Looks like the hole in the floor has not really affected performance for RBR. It would have been a shame, if someone had protested it!.

Moving forward, I really hope Vettel does not run away with a win, as it would mean, red bull would have a significant lead over others in the constructors title hunt, and if Alonso misses a podium, Vettel would grab the much needed lead in the championship ( and might become dominant, as '11, which is not so much fun for the viewers).

I wonder what is up with the Lotus boys? They were supposed to do well on low downforce circuits. The team just seems to be going backwards a bit. Very disappointing.

Like last year, when they had podiums in the first two races, very little after that.
Gradually it looks as if top three teams will be Red Bull, Ferrari, and Mclaren.
The 100 million dollar infusion does not seem to have done much for Sahara Force India. They were supposed to be targetting fifth, I doubt whether they will even be able to retain their sixth position.
Let us see whether there will be a seventh winner or one of the earlier six wins again.

Re: 2012 F1 - Canadian Grand Prix

Lotus as a mid feild team have predictably fallen back after the initial advantage, just says how big budget guys like ferrari can claw back after a poor start.Seems like a good fight between vettel and hammo will be on cards.

It's on the first page of this thread.

I just don't get what Mercedes is doing with Schumacher and his car. Does anyone else find it difficult to believe that so much can go wrong? There's been pit stop errors, gear box problems, timing problems, DRS problems. You name the problem and it's happened in his car. I can't seem to believe it's a simple coincidence. What do you guys think?

Re: 2012 F1 - Canadian Grand Prix

What the hell were the strategists at Force India thinking?

Di Resta could have been 3rd if his luck was right, if he was slightly luckier, even 2nd.

Why did he go in to the pits so early. I had so much hopes pinned on him. Even Perez who started behind is on the podium now.

Force India really has a lot of thinking to do. What a waste of potential points.

I don't know how upset Vijay Mallya is , but I'm probably even more upset than him at the moment. They really need consider their choices more judiciously. Very very sad waste of potential. It could have been such a pleasant result for Paul and FI.

Re: 2012 F1 - Canadian Grand Prix

Excellent Race, Hamilton Wins Canadian Grand prix

Grosjean and Perez finish in the podium, Alonso lost the podium place with his pit stop strategy and ended up finishing behind Vettel in 5th Place.
