The 13th Race of the season, Belgium race had been awesome, hope the Monza track has more to offer. Its definately a high speed track and the cars with advantage would be Mclaren, Lotus,Mercedes AMG & Force India. While Nothing much can be said about the Mercedes AMG, they are still evolving in their 3rd stint (god knows when they will learn) .
Michael Schumacher - Better move back to Ferrari.:thumbs up
Hamilton will seek a fresh outing after his woes continues off the field too.

Also, this race would see Romain Grosjean serve his ONE RACE BAN, and Lotus will field their reserve Jerome Dámbrozio.

Isnt this usually classified as the red car's playground?
Anyway, let me throw my standard spiel and hope the best for Hamilton (Again).
Last one came true in the worst sense, so I am hoping this time for a either a win, or a podium. :D
With the pace Mclaren have at the moment, they will clearly blow everyone else away.
Ferrari will be hoping that Button takes more points ahead of Lewis.
As always, I will be rooting for Sahara Force India. If they can improve their strategy, I think the cars themselves have enough pace to compete for the top five, looking at their performance in Belgium!
As for Schumi, I have no comments! I would like to see Vettel in the front as well.
Being a low downforce highspeed circuit, I expect McLaren to be very fast here.
Jerome d'Ambrosio will take the second Lotus for the race.

I don't think it is that simple, RBR can be fast too once they have clear air or for that matter most of the top runners.
Don't forget it is very special for the Tifosi and Fernando is like Vaali (of Vaali/Bali Sugreev)- he draws energy from every possible person and goes stronger. You have to give it to him (though I hate him since he left McLaren).
If Lewis wins, it will be a decimating act.
If Mercedes can manage their pitstops well I think they have a chance. I think Rosberg is a black horse in this race and may surprise. He was quite quick in Spa once he pitted. I think he had the fastest lap of the race.

Would love to see Alonso win at Monza.. but this isnt Avatar :D
The team need to give him a quicker car. Plain and simple.
Lewis is clearly the favorite to win the next few races.

Really?
Button seems to be back on form, you never know what Lotus might pull out, Alonso would be very motivated after Spa (not to mention it's Ferrari's home race) and Lewis has that uncanny ability to self-implode.

For sure in my book.
Alonso is always motivated. It is upto the team now to give him the car to win. I'm hoping Button will take points off SV/MW/KR to enable FA to increase his lead. I would welcome JB taking points off LH too.
Thank God it seems to be back Live on ESPN-HD (at leat for now). Most probably since the EPL may be having a break due to Brazil Qualifiers!
I saw the FP 2 yesterday.
Alonso' F2012 hit a lot of reliability issues. There was a engine problem in FP1, brake failure and gearbox issues in FP2. He missed a lot of laps in FP2, but the car looks good.
Schumi also looks good. He topped the FP1 and he was still the 10th fastest in FP2 with DRS issues.
McLaren 1,2 and they have a lot of pace left. And Ambrosio did a great job with the second Lotus yesterday.
50 minutes for qualifying. It's evident from practice 3 that Alonso and Lewis want to prove their dominance on the track but I believe qualifying results would be slightly different.
Good show by McLaren! Hamilton and Button will start in the front row... And old Ferrari teammates in the second row (Massa and Schumacher)
Funny to see how everyone lapped faster in Q3 compared to their runs in Q2 while Alonso is the only one who slowed by 1.3s. Alonso in 10th place is not the ideal place to start with, but with a good tyre strategy, Ferrari can make it. I suspect Fernando might be on a 1 stopper tomorrow. As already mentioned, the Mercedes cars are FAST. Schumi is driving well, but the tyre strategies are denting Mercedes' chances of many more podiums. The McLarens are clearly the fastest especially with that new rear wing. Good to see Massa up the order and finally managing to out qualify Fernando. But with Massa, you never know when he could get too close to Hamilton! Tomorrow is going to be a smashing race and I can hardly wait. Tomorrow is a crucial day with regard to the Title Race.
EDIT: Pity, Alonso said he lost 'easiest pole position'. He had a broken 'Anti Roll Bar'.
