Re: 2012 F1 - SUZUKA - Japanese Grand Prix

What a start

Alonso Out, Roseberg Out.

Schumi on hard compound tires up to 14th and looking for a good weekend. Vettel nailing it. Saubers are looking great.

Lastly, Hamilton running a lone race at 7th and fast dropping down, the bitter divorce showing its colors.

Alonso went out due to a puncture because if contact with Kimi's front wing.

Perez out, what a shame. He seems really pumped up because of the Mclaren contract.

Lewis's front tyres wear off after just 7 laps! Jenson has his own on-off problems with engine.

Well Alonso got out with a small touch from one of his immediate competitor (Kimi).

Not so good pit stop as well. He is now struggling with his tyres.

His replacement in McLaren is also out of the race.

Well, I hate to say but Vettel is unstoppable when he begins at the start. Certain first for him.

`

He is going to give a tough fight to the Alonso in the WDC for sure.

What a gritty drive from Schumi, from the back of the grid to 11th sad he was out of points.

What a race for Massa. Now that just about confirms his seat at Ferrari for coming season.

There was some aggressive driving from Button also, in the last few laps. But Kobayashi kept up with it pretty well.

Vettel, Surely looks like he'll displace Alonso from top spot after next race.

Hamilton, Well, A disappointment to say the least. I guess he's out of championship race as well, unless something dramatic happens.

Re: 2012 F1 - SUZUKA - Japanese Grand Prix

Gutted for Alonso. He'l be dropping points every race now onwards unless Ferrari get their house in order. Great development by Red Bull on their DDRS. Seb now has an unhindered path to his 3rd WDC title.

The Sauber vacant seat will be the most coveted seat after Felipe's! (which he should keep).

Bad call to reduce the DRS zone, hardly any overtaking into T1.

Re: 2012 F1 - SUZUKA - Japanese Grand Prix

Alonso has only himself to blame for what happened today. He tried to crowd Raikkonen off the track (perhaps unintentionally), and paid the price for it.

Raikkonen clearly had nowhere to go. If Alonso loses this championship by a few points he has only himself to blame.
