New Team for F1 in 2008... Prodrive.

Thats right. F1 will have 12 teams in 2008. all 11 existing ones and a new team - Prodrive. and with Prodrive, its gonna be the return of David Richards. man would he like to put one past Honda. and mind you Prodrve aint gonna be back-draggers like Super Aguri this season. prodrive has a rich racing history. 5 British Touring Championships, 6 WRC championships, and GTS class winners at LeMans in 2003. if thts not impressive, what is? besides these, prodrive is also better known to F1 fans as BAR, the BAR of Dave Richards, before Honda took over. so add 2nd place in a formula 1 season to tht impressive resume. This is what F1 needs more; more proper racing teams, not jacked up car maufacturers like Honda and Toyota. Carlin motorsport missed out for 2008, as did Paul Stoddarts team. tht was quite dissapointing. But, David Richards, a BIG welcome back.

Looks like some serious competition for Red Bull, Toyota, Honda, BMW Sauber and even Williams. Super Aguri is one of the worst teams in the history of F1. Their car (Arrows chassis) was on display in a burger joint in Melbourne for 4 years when they picked it up and started racing it.
