Rehaan you gem!! Those are fabulous pictures!!!

I agree racing back in the 60s and 70s required a lot of courage and it was raw racing and all that but I was certainly not an advocate of so many fabulous drivers (people,humans) losing their lives at the pink of their health. F1 definitely needed safety measures if it was to continue to be a sport. At one time, it was at the brink of a world wide ban. So I'm glad they did what they did to make it safe and almost death free. Lets not forget Surtees Jr and Bianchi. Despite all the safety measures they lost their lives so young.

Racing takes a lot of courage now even if its a "circus crew going round and round". These boys/men have the mettle now and they had it back then. To me, the old era and the new era aren't comparable. They both rocked!! In general...F1 rocks!!!!
