The figure are in. For the present season, this is how much $$ every team is getting from its sponsors, per season:
1. Ferrari : 222 Million US$
2. McLaren : 140.75 m$
3. Renault : 136 m$
4. BMW-Sauber : 102.5m$
5. Williams : 83.5 m$ (Tata = 3 million $)
6. Honda : 66 m$
7. Toyota : 62.5 m$
8. Super Aguri : 57 m$
9. Midland : 43.5 m$
10. Red Bull & Torro Rosso : 0
Note: a. Red Bull and Torro Rosso both show 0 since, as you have seen for urself, no major sponsor. Even small sponsors like Rauch, Quehenberger and Alpinestars dont pay anything.
b. Vodafone are moving to McLaren with their 60 m$ that they have at Ferrari. If Kimi stays at McLaren, that figure could go upto 70 m$.
c. Next season, Marlboro will pay 175m$ instead of the present 100m$ to cover up for Vodafone. Ferrari wont look for a replacement sponsor.

Whoa !! renault seems to be doing a gr8 job for the money when compared to ferrari and mclerans.!

That's just sponsorship money aZa. Factory funding is not included in this. If you see combined figures of both which makes the total budget of the race team your eye***** will pop out.

:OTJust by selling energy drinks, the Red Bull guys can afford 2 Formula 1 teams, alongwith their numerous other sporting activities. Interesting!!

the full F1 circus each year costs around 2.5 billion dollars. yes thats a "b" in billion dollars. conversion wud make that in tune of 115 billion rupees, if the neta log got even the wiff of it they wud not take much time ruining this sport also. :)

these are the latest numbers i found..
(total spending per team)

Mercedes-powered McLaren has beaten Toyota to the mantle as F1's biggest spender.

Business F1 magazine contends that the Woking-based outfit, spending a reputed $400 million (US) a year, pips the Japanese carmaker - at $393 million - to the dubious post.

Third and fourth are Honda ($382m) and BMW Sauber ($378m), leaving Ferrari just fifth in the ranking with an estimated annual spend of $329m.

Reigning drivers' and constructors champion (and 2006 title leader) Renault ranked a distant sixth by spending around $300m, followed perhaps surprisingly by Red Bull ($201m).

Williams ($134m) leads the remaining privateers, but Super Aguri ($95m) outpace both MF1 ($76m) and - bringing up the rear - Red Bull's junior team Scuderia Toro Rosso, at $66m.

Interestingly, though, Phillip Morris' sponsorship of Ferrari - at $97m a year - amounts to more than the annual budget of any of the final three teams.

Altogether, it's a mind-boggling collective spend of more than 2.5 billion dollars.
