For the first time I changed the team last week and it really helped to hold on to my position. But I am still running with only one Mercedes driver, this is the only option that gives me a remote chance to catch zenren or come closer at least. Yes, there are chances that I may lose some positions as well.
Like Mercedes closed the constructor championship fight, I think deetjohn has confirmed P1 here clap: |

Oh Zen I see you already posted the post Russian GP results earlier. I guess the Image refused to load earlier when I visited so I went and made my own.
Thanks as always, You are super quick ^_^
There are still more than 3000 points to play for in F1FRL. So, all positions are still well within the reach.
I have also changed my team only once, at Malaysia to be exact. :D
OTOH, gppredictor is not going my way at all. Its much harder to get it right. So, kudos to all the big movers. :thumbs up

Nothing great about the late changes, guys. Initially, I was not aware that changes can be madestupid:. Then,a few times when I wanted to make change,I missed the deadline for changes. Finally, last week I wanted make one change but ended up with 3 changes.

Yes, but most of them will be having similar teams by now, due to the dominance by Mercedes engine. so,it will be difficult to gain positions now.
Below is the latest update on the standings post the US GP.

The Updated Placings after the U.S. Grand Prix are here!:
Here's post-Brazil:
- Deet, It looks like you've got ....as they say, One hand on the trophy ; ).
- Very close between P6 and P7. SilentF1 has yet to use a Bonus : 0.
- bhagathgowda could yet jump into the Top 10 as he too has DP left!.
Here is the GP Predictor:
Great performances from the new leader st1gg3r, deetjohn and Ice Bird Racing Team. I'm down to P3 after enjoying the top spot for a while with a disastrous performance!
This shows you don't need double points to mix the pack. :D

Yeah, you could say that. But I do see bhagathgowda with a very BIG DRS wing in the slipstream along with others. :D
Both leagues will see a lot of movement after the last race. And this season went real fast.

Yes, bhagathgowda is holding a mega DRS:). Even some decent points can take him as high as P3. And I don't see any changes to P1 and P2.
Here are the winners of our F1 fantasy leagues. It was great fun playing the fantasy league this year with an equally "mad-about-F1" crowd. Looking forward to next season with even bigger competition since some strong performers didn't start from race 1 this season.
Congratulations to
deetjohn and
st1gg3r for winning the FRL and GP Predictor mini leagues. clap:
st1gg3r, please identify yourself at least now. :D
Here are the final standings:
FRL:
GP Predictor:

Congratulations to the winners and :thumbs up to all those who participated!
Congratulations to deetjohn and st1gg3r! Well played both of you!
It is quite surprising though, that in our forum with so many enthusiasts, there are just about 30-40 people who are interested in F1.
Hope we can see more and more F1 enthusiasts signing up and participating in our Fantasy League.
And perhaps the mods could organize an internal competition to spice up things a bit, wot say? :D Maybe, give the top 3 in both leagues some cool F1 goodies?
#13 in FRL and #8 in Castrol. Middle of the pack. Seems like school days all over again lol:
This tourney made the F1 season a lot of fun even though I thought it became a very boring one sided fight in F1 towards the end.
Onwards to next year.
What an exciting race and an equally exciting points finish in the FRL!
-Congratulations
deetjohn
for winning the 2014 Team-BHP Fantasy league!!!
-
ZR Challengers retains Silver at second place.
-
bhagathgowda jumped from 12th directly to the Podium at 3rd place!!
-
TeamNaruto made the jump from 18th and into the Top 10 Placings at 9th!!.
-
Silent F1 overtook
Speedster and
anandshiv for 6th.
-
PuntoMania sealing the final 10th position pushing me and
ChequeredFlag outside of the Top 10!.
I would like to thank you all for participating in the Fantasy League I setup for our F1 community here at Team-BHP. The particiapation level was well beyond what I expected.
As a result of the overwhelming response I will set one up for 2015 as well. Hope to see you all again then!
