Don't forget that the gear ratios are fixed for the entire season. I followed the gear changes of Kimi and Lewis through a few laps in FP2 and didn't see 8th gear in either cars. May be that would be reserved only for the high speed circuits. I don't think we can expect the full performance from all cars in all races.

I was talking about hitting the rev limit of 15K for the full scream from the engine. And the drivers can do that on every gear and not just the top ratio. The limiting factor will be fuel flow restriction.

Kimi is definitely struggling and he seems to be frustrated as well, there were some issues with his seat was asked to come out of the cockpit he was not happy with it either, lets see how he goes in Qualifying and Race.

Mercedes quick in FP3 as well with Rosberg leading the way, most of the drivers struggling and running wide.

Williams struggling after good preseason testing, this season would definitely be unpredictable and should be fun, looking forward to it

Rain is the last thing these guys would have wanted. Merc so confident they went on Medium for the session and cleared it comfortably. And Brundle says the soft is quite fast compared to Medium. That's scary for others, I would say.
